ISLE OF WIGHT “RING OF RED” RIDE-OUT – 08/11/2026

Island MM plan to be there if anyone would like to join us. 👍

Copied from the official FaceBook post:

* Ring of Red – Isle of Wight
* East Cowes
* Duration: 3 hr
* Public – Anyone on or off Facebook

Hello everyone, it is getting close to Remembrance Sunday again, so here is this years(2026) post to let all you bikers out there know what we are hoping for on Sunday 8th November. IF the weather is absolutely appalling, it will not go ahead , on safety grounds, and I will post on here asap.

Broadly speaking, this is our own version of the Ring Of Red rides up and down the country, notably the ride around the M25, in which, wearing something red, we ride, clockwise, around a coastal route of the Island, as our tribute to Remembrance Sunday and all that it represents for everyone, past and present day.

The rideout will be roughly the same route as previous years, but crucially, we will be setting off from the starting point at 8AM, not 9AM, to give us a better run out , with a short break (5mins for a stop and stretch legs time) at Blackgang viewpoint car park. The route takes in many of our towns and villages , and , please note, is approximately 75 miles in total, and 2hours 30minutes riding time, keeping to all relevant speed limits etc..

Everyone is welcome to ride along with us, hopefully we will gain a few more this year, as I hope this site will reach more people this year ( thank you Brittany, for setting it up!)

THE ROUTE: 8/11/2026–8AM Sharp!

NEXT ISLAND MM BIKER BREKKIE – SATURDAY 14/11/2026

"/

What is the Island MM Biker Brekkie?
Every second Saturday in the month we meet up at 10.00am at The TideMill in Wootton Bridge. We scoff a load of bacon and eggs, chat, laugh and generally enjoy ourselves. As long as the weather is half decent, about 12.00 midday we jump on our bikes and head off for a ride around our fair isle, stopping off somewhere along the way for a coffee/tea/soft drink and some more chats and laughs. Riders can stay until the bitter end or peel off whenever and wherever they like. Four weeks later we do it all again!

Who can come to it?
Anyone!

Do I need a bike?
No! You’ll need one to join us on the ride-out (unless you ride pillion with someone who’s got one), but for the breakfast, just come as you are and get there however you want!

What bikes are allowed to join the ride-out?
Any bike but realistically you’ll probably want to be on a 125cc or bigger. That said, before we set out we’ll agree where the drinks stop will be, so if you lag behind you can just catch up with us there.

What does it cost?
Nothing. Just buy your own brekkie at the TideMill or whatever you want to eat/drink.

Can I bring a friend, partner, wife, dog?
Bring whoever you like. Everyone is welcome.

Are there any rules?
Not really. Comes as you are. Treat everyone with respect, on and off the road, and you’ll be good to go.

The next one is Saturday 14/11/2026. See you there! 👍

THE 3 AMIGOS (AND BROTHERS IN CHRIST) RIDE AGAIN!

What a brilliant day! Full English biker brekkie followed by Communion and prayer together at The Tidemill, Wootton, then another 4+ hours just riding our bikes, hanging out, chatting and laughing the afternoon away. Brilliant weather and great company. One of the best days I’ve had in a while. Cheers brothers!!

MONDAY 28/09/2026 – LAST OFFICIAL RYDE BIKE NIGHT

‘Twas the last “official” Ryde Bike Night this evening and Dave and I had a great time talking bikes with friends and fellow bikers. It looked like it might rain to begin with but it turned out to be a beautiful evening. I suspect we’ll be around for a few more “unofficial” bike nights before the year ends. Blessings all!
